Activity 1: Getting to know each other

  1. Find Activity 1. Use the QR code and your device to get to the survey and tell us a little about yourself. 
  2. Use the results of the Google Survey to get to know your fellow participants. Find people you have things in common with. Report out your connections.
  3. Discuss the Mentimeter Survey and determine how it will impact the workshop.

Activity 2: How much do you know about Flipped Learning?

  1. Find Activity 2. Follow the directions to let us know how much you know about Flipped Learning.
  2. We will discuss the survey results and use the information from both surveys to set a course for the training.

Activity 3: Flipped Learning Basics

  1. Discuss teaching students how to watch a video by themselves.
  2. Watch a video about Flipped Instruction together.
  3. Use the worksheet to take notes on the video.
  4. Discuss the Google Slides document you created together.

Activity 4: The In-Class Flip

Engage in an In-Class Flip about the In-Class Flip. Visit all 5 stations to explore the principals behind the in-class flip. Work with other teachers to learn and brainstorm topics to turn into your In-Class Flip.

Discuss ways to create your own videos.
Discuss ways to share the activities with your students.
